Who is behind the arcade

UGB Arcade is the studio name of UGLY BOY LTD, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 17193588. Its public filing history can be read on Companies House.

Why rebounds

A ball bouncing off a bumper is one of the oldest pleasures in amusement arcades. It is easy to read at a glance and very hard to master, because each angle sets up the next one. That gap between simple and deep is the space we like to work in.

Phones suit the idea well. A screen held in portrait is already the shape of a cabinet playfield, and a thumb on glass can tip a table with surprising precision.

How a table gets made

We sketch bumper layouts on paper, then play them as grey boxes for days before adding colour or sound. A layout survives only if a skilled run and a careless run end with clearly different scores.
