Short arcade rounds that reward one more go
UGB Arcade is an independent game studio in London, operated by UGLY BOY LTD. We build quick-fire arcade games for Android phones around a single idea: a glowing puck, a handful of bumpers and a clock that keeps running.
A round lasts about a minute. You tilt the table with one thumb, the puck caroms off whatever it meets, and every rebound feeds a chain that multiplies the score.
How a round plays out
- Drop. The puck enters from the top edge at a fresh angle each time.
- Tilt. A single thumb tips the table left or right and steers the puck towards the next bumper.
- Chain. Rebounds that never touch the floor stack into a growing multiplier.
- Drain. The round closes when the timer empties or the puck slips past the bottom rails.
Sixty seconds, shown in full
We design our games so that a complete round fits inside a wait at the bus stop or the gap between two songs. The timer sits in plain view and only you can stop it: switch away mid-round and the table freezes with the puck exactly where it was.
House rules for every table
- Scoring rules appear on screen before the first drop, so any big total can be explained.
- Identical inputs give identical results; luck never decides who tops the board.
- Sound and vibration have separate switches, so a round can stay silent on the train.
- Each new table brings its own shape, colour and bumper set, so it feels new under the thumb.
